Instructions for the Intellect Scan

We use three assessments to determine a person's Intellect.

  • Relax and answer the way you feel, not how you think others would want you to answer.
  • This is not a test. There is no right or wrong answer.
  • Go with your gut; don’t over-analyze.

Assessment #1: Value Inventory (Part 1 and 2)

The first assessment is affected by how consistently you answer, and you may not be able to submit your responses if your consistency/validity is low. These instructions will help you avoid having to schedule a facilitated retake.

Value Inventory Part 1.  You will be asked to determine if the 18 phrases in the list are items that you consider to be either good (click “+” button) or items that you consider to be bad (click “-“ button).

  • Pull all the blues to the top and the pinks to the bottom.
  • The phrases in blue are items you considered to be good. Choose the very best item and put it in the top position, then continue until you have ranked the good items
  • The phrases in pink are items you considered to be bad. Choose the very worst and pull it to the very bottom, then continue until you have ranked the bad items from the bottom up to mid page.

Value Inventory Part 2.  THESE ARE DIFFERENT from Part 1.  Instead of good and bad, this is based on whether you personally believe that the statement presented is true (click “+” button) or whether you believe that the statement is false (click “-“ button).

  • Pull the blues to the top and the pinks at the bottom of the page.
  • The phrases in blue are statements that you agreed with, that you thought were true. Chose the truest statement and put it in the top position, then continue until you have ranked the blue statements.
  • The phrases in pink are statements that you disagreed with, that you thought were false. Choose the most false of all the pink statements and pull it to the very bottom, then continue to rank the pink statements working from the bottom up to mid page.
  • These rankings should be what you think. When satisfied with your rankings, hit the “CONTINUE” button.
